To many naysayers, they wish that arguably, one of Africa’s finest groups was over but to the best of our knowledge, that hasn’t yet happen, moreover the trio of 4×4 is keeping the heartbeats of their esteem followers beating with their individual ingredients of monstrous jams.
Fast-forward to this day and CODED has dropped his maiden solo tune titled, “EDEY PAIN DEM” – which when translated from the Pidgin parlance comes as, a beautiful-teasing-way of insinuating that you are hurt as well as not happy (either for one’s success, joy, greatness, etc).
Listening to the lyrics of the song, one can authentically pinpoint that CODED was praying for his detractors, teasing his cynics, churning an identical anthem for the street as well as creating a beautiful-dance for the feet of music ‘paramours’.
As produced by Hydraulics and mastered by Kaywa, music devotees can agree with us that the ebony-charm-brother well-arranged his tune – from the second F below middle C to the F above middle C (i.e. F2–F4) in choral music, and from the second A below middle C to the A above middle C (A2 to A4) in operatic melody – Edey Pain Dem ooo!!!
In the vein that we got you to read this (though Edey Pain Dem), get your dancing shoes ready as you download and listen to the voice of the baritonic-prime-brother…
