JOE shows his METTLE again…bags ten (10) Nominations @ the 2019 Africa Gospel Music Awards Festival

Ghanaian gospel musician, Joe Mettle has bagged a total of ten nominations at this year’s Africa Gospel Music Awards Festival beating Nigerian Tim Godfrey who had eight and South Africa’s Dr. Tumi who received six nominations in total.

The Africa Gospel Music Awards Festival also known as AGAFEST is a ceremony held each to acknowledge the hard work of gospel musicians and stakeholders in the whole of Africa. The nominees for this year’s edition were announced at a short ceremony at the Holiday Inn Hotel at the Airport, Accra. The event was graced by many honourable men and women in the Gospel music fraternity.

Musicians such as Kingzkid, Lil Zig, Effe Grace, Patience Nyarko, Kobbie Sam among others were there to grace the occasion. Dignitaries including the CEO of the award scheme, Prince Mackay, artiste manager, Nii Noi(Akesse Brempong’s manager) was around to add his honour to the about 3 hour event.

The main awards night will be held in the first week of March in Accra, Ghana. Ghana’s 2017 Artiste of the Year, Joe Mettle bagged a total of ten nominations including the most coveted, African Gospel Artiste of the Year category.
