It’s been a while since I shared recent happenings. Today being my birthday I couldn’t think of a better time to share a retrospective of the last few months with you!
CNN African Voices paid me a visit in my creative hideout in Ghana. You can watch what I showed and told them using the link above.
New Song, W’ani Aba, ft. Bisa Kdei:
Enjoy my latest musical offering featuring contemporary highlife heavyweight, Bisa Kdei, and produced by the ever so talented Kwame Yeboah! Get it here: Itunes Link:https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/wani-aba-feat.-bisa-kdei-single/id1056247347 or listen here: Nothing would make me happier on my born day than your support for the music!
The Guardian article:
I took a little time to pen a piece for the Guardian about the hassles and joys of being a young creative in modern day Ghana.
Giant Steps & UNICEF summit
I flew back to my old stomping grounds, Minneapolis, for the 2015 edition of Giant Steps, a conference for creatives and entrepreneurs I co-founded with Susan Campion in 2010. Find out more about Giant Steps here: http://www.giantstepsmn.com. I also just returned from Helsinki where I was a panelist (alongside some very progressive minds) on a thought provoking UNICEF summit on innovation. Being present and making contributions in these spaces is re-invigorating and brings much needed balance to my creative side.
If you read this through to this point I applaud your patience and thank you for your support! I have so much new and thrilling on the way so kindly keep an ear and an eye out.
