On the hills & still soaring: 17.4 million people watched the Season 8 premiere of ‘GAME OF THRONES’…in a record-breaking viewership feat

Do you know that ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 8 premiere received a record-breaking viewership, plus it was the most-Tweeted-about episode? With the excitement at its peak, this season has got everyone talking.

HBO reveals that the final season premiere for ‘Game of Thrones’ was watched 17.4 million viewers on Sunday night.

The previous season comes low at 16.9 million viewers for Season 7 finale. Compared to Season 7’s 16.1 million viewers, the final season premiere grew by over 1million viewers.

Not only that, but HBO received the largest night of streaming activity ever.

Season 8 premiere was the most-Tweeted-about episode, receiving more than 5 million Tweet and 11 million mentions during the weekend.
