The day is upon us…FASHION CONNECT AFRICA is today!

Date check – today is the 30th of December, 2019, and the day is upon us, FASHION CONNECT AFRICA is upon us.

Let’s remind ourselves that African Fashion was not widely known and accepted in the past. It was hardly recognized, especially as a result of our colonial history, thus, this is an originality to help promote the African creative spirit, exposure for both Ghanaian and the African Fashion industry players; plus its major assignment is to bring together global fashion players and the indigenous African fashion industry on the same platform to share ideas, solutions and find a way forward for the industry.

After today, history would be made as its purpose to inspire, empower and showcase established and upcoming fashion creatives’ crafts to the world by bringing fashion lovers into a creative space where they can connect, interact, enjoy, network, learn, be inspired and have lots of fun.

From 10:00am today, there is going to be a Master Class with David Tlale and other amazing designers at the University of Ghana Isser Conference Center – Seminar Room. The moderator is Ayesha Bedwei, the panelists are: Kwaku Bediako, Abrima Erwiah, Nora Bannerman and Claudia Lumor.

Later in the evening, the main event which will take place at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel, will be anchored by Kwasi Kyei Darkwa (aka KKD) and Berla Mundi.

Performances from Irene Logan, M.anifest and Wiyaala is a sure banker for attendees to remember for eternity.
