The latest edition of the leading Nigerian publication, This Day Style magazine, features 5 trailblazing women who are shattering ceilings in Nigeria.

The women, who were profiled as part of the “I am a Gaia Woman” campaign by exclusive women only private members club in Lagos GAIA Women Club, were celebrated for their leadership roles and impact within their chosen fields of expertise.

The lineup includes Peace Hyde, the leading education activist who was recently given the African Change maker award at the UK house of parliament by the African Achievers Awards for her exceptional work championing the fight for quality education and eradicating youth unemployment in Africa through her non-profit Aim Higher Africa.

Joining her is fellow powerhouse entrepreneur Tara Fela-Durotoye, founder of leading Indigenous makes up brand, House of Tara, Folashade Ambrose Medebem, communications and public affairs director at Lafarge Africa Plc, Olatowun Candid-Johnson, Founder of the GAIA Women Club and Antonella Saldo and Oil and Gas senior executive.
