We’re drawing nigh the 2019 MAKEUP & BEAUTY WEEK…but before then, let’s start with its Launch

Makeup & Beauty Week is a week-long event to celebrate, reward and promote stakeholders in the makeup and beauty industry in Ghana and across Africa. This includes artists, brands, retailers, content creators, consumers, influencers and public-sector partners of the makeup industry.

The week is organized around two flagship events: The Africa Makeup & Beauty Fair and the Ghana Makeup Awards. It was a resounding success due to the immeasurable support of a network of individuals, public institutions and policymakers, especially the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture. Our goal to project the economic impact of the Makeup and Beauty Industry in Ghana was achieved.

The policy makers, dignitaries, distinguished guests and consumers present, were all astounded by the sights and sounds of AMB Fair 2018 and the 2nd Ghana Makeup Awards. We are set to make Makeup & Beauty Week 2019 an even bigger success.

Learning from the outcomes of 2018 and moving towards creating a real festival vibe to celebrate the Makeup and Beauty industry, Makeup & Beauty Week 2019 is scheduled across two weekends, April 26 – May 4, 2019. We are launching Makeup & Beauty Week 2019 as part of the Glow & Mingle Soiree: Ghana Makeup Awards Winners’ Edition. The Glow & Mingle Soiree is a soiree and networking event for the Makeup and beauty industry.

The Ghana Makeup Awards Winners’ Edition is being held to celebrate the Winners of the 2nd Ghana Makeup Awards. We therefore invite you to cover the Launch and receive a special Press Briefing on activities scheduled for Makeup & Beauty Week 2019. We look forward to a favorably response to this invitation by September 17, 2018.

NB: The Launch of Makeup & Beauty Week 2019 is on Sunday, October 28th, 2018 by 5:00PM, at the Swiss Spirit Hotel and Suites Alisa, Accra, Ghana.
