13 –14 November: AFI FASHION WEEK will be virtually organized

This year’s AFI Fashion Week will be going virtual scheduled for the 13th – 14th of November 2020 and will deliver on our promise of connecting African brands to global markets. This Ready-to-Wear virtual runway will allow audiences to seamlessly view, click and pre-order designer collections during and post the event.

See designers who will be showcasing at the event…

Hosting virtual runway shows is not new to AFI, as the last day of AFI Fashion Week, Cape Town in March 2020, was streamed live under unforeseen COVID-19 precautions – making AFI the first on the continent to incorporate digital mediums.

This runway reset will surprise audiences with an assortment of curated locations that showcase the beauty of Johannesburg. Each setting reimagines the runway, to enhance the designers’ storytelling with African culture and heritage.

The front row is open to everyone, as we come together to reinvent the fashion industry, restore hope and drive sales for designers through our e-commerce platform.
