According to a report by CNBC, APPLE will give away its streaming content free to users using their devices (iPhone, Mackbook, Apple TV).
Apple is spending about $1 billion on original content this year, targeting “PG-rated” shows that appeal to wide audiences and won’t get the company in trouble by making them available for free to owners of all devices, said the people.
The new digital video service will consist of Apple-owned content together with subscription channels, allowing users to sign up for online-only services, like HBO and Starz.
According to the report, Users will access the content through the built-in “TV” app, and won’t have to download individual apps from multiple media providers.
