Blockbuster ‘BLOOD SISTERS’ is Ytainment’s Movie of the Week + see trailer

This week Naija’s blockbuster ‘Blood Sisters’ takes the spotlight as our show of the week.

The series is Netflix’s first Nigerian original TV series and is directed by Biyi Bandele and Kenneth Gyang.

It stars Ini Dima-Okojie, Nancy Isime, Ramsey Nouah, Kate Henshaw, Gabriel Afolayan, Uche Jombo, Kehinde Bankole, Daniel Etim Effiong, Wale Ojo and Deyemi Okanlawon.

Set in Nigeria, Lagos, the four-part series follows the story of best friends Sarah and Kemi. Sarah is about to get married to her wealthy, powerful fiancé, Kola who has abusive tendencies. When the big day arrives it becomes a nightmare when Kemi discovers the dark side of Kola and she accidentally kills him while trying to defend her friend.

They both become fugitives and find themselves running away from the law and the ruthless family of their victim.

The series is now streaming on Netflix.
