Bonang Matheba beats Davido, Cassper, Wizkid to pick up the ‘African Influencer of the Year’ at this year’s E! People’s Choice Awards

Bonang Matheba has got another major win to celebrate.

The world-known media personality was awarded the inaugural “African Influencer of the Year” at the 45th annual E! People’s Choice Awards. After many years of recognition as one of South Africa’s leading celebrities, she has received her well-deserved global adulation.

Matheba was up against the likes of Cassper Nyovest, Minnie Dlamini-Jones, Yemi Alade, Tiwa Savage, Davido and Wizkid in the same category.

She now joins A-list celebrity winners of the 2019 E! People’s Choice Awards including Gwen Stefani, the recipient of the “Fashion Icon Award”, Jennifer Aniston, who will be given “The People’s Icon of 2019” award and P!nk who will receive the “People’s Champion Award”.

South African fans can watch the awards when they broadcast live on Monday 11 November 2019 at 04:00am CAT on E! (DStv channel 124) all the way from Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.
