Great theologian, philosopher and artist Albert Schweitzer’s is quoted saying; “Joy, sorrow, tears, lamentation, laughter – to all these music gives voice, but in such a way that we are transported from the world of unrest to a world of peace, and see reality in a new way, as if we were sitting by a mountain lake and contemplating hills and woods and clouds in the tranquil and fathomless water.” This is Dinah’s interpretation of good music and its positive effects.
She is heavily influenced by Diana Hamilton, Joe Mettle and Celestine Donkor and well as Nigerian Praise and Worship leader Nathaniel Bassey, and American singer songwriter William McDowell. She credits her decision to embark on a professional solo music career to Pastor Prince Amoako of ICGC, McCarthy Hill. Pastor Prince, a singer himself approached Diana and asked her to back one of his songs. This according to him was a directive of the Holy Spirit. It gave her the head start and was a confirmation of her call, as the passion and zeal to pursue music has been burning in her for a long time.
Dinah has written over 20 songs and still counting and is ready to be a blessing to the world through music. She is managed by Bludiamond Entertainment.
