
The creative director of the French luxury fashion label CHANEL, Karl Lagerfeld has died aged 85.
Karl Lagerfeld was known for his trademark look of dark sunglasses.
According to Evening Standard, the iconic fashion designer passed away after a battle with pancreatic cancer – he was admitted to the American Hospital on the outskirts of Paris last night and passed away early this morning.
Lagerfeld is one of the most prolific and celebrated fashion designers of all time and has headed up some of the biggest fashion houses in the world, including Fendi, Chanel and his own namesake label, all three of which he acted as creative director for until his death today.
