We shall not waste your time on who wore what and how they wore it – the bottom line is that some wore to impress whilst some came to annoy. We have virtually seen the photos of all the people that came to the 17^th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards that was held at the Accra International Conference Center. Special kudos to all the stylists that did some fantastic jobs and better luck next time to those that ridiculously embarrassed their clients.

One persona that had everyone talking even before the main night was entrepreneur, actress cum producer, NANA AKUA ADDO, who on the night fixed her claim as the undisputed queen of slay – a worn-out cliché, no doubt, but it needs being repeated.

For those who haven’t seen Akua’s outfit, let us retell that she came sleek in a long-sleeve black and gold metallic column gown designed by Lebanon Charbel Karam. It will be recounted that a similar design was donned by Bonang Matheba of South Africa sometimes last year at the 15th Metro FM Music Awards, but if you ask us, “who nailed it best?” We shall straightforward say that Nana Akua Addo rocked the opulent and tough luxe dress with a sleek updo in a more bright-relaxed way.

The gorgeous dress ‘Midnight Lust’ by Charbel Karam was about the combination of the European trends and Eastern traditions. Perhaps you want to hiss with the notion that, ‘it was just a dress’; nay! The uniqueness of the black and gold metallic column gown is that it is characterized by international techniques, glamour and sophistication.

This gown that we are talking about was made of high quality fabric of a flowing material with attachment of pearls. The feminine silhouettes, the transparent materials, special cuts and the great embellishments are just some of the characteristics of this glamorous, elegant and sexy dress worn by the actress to the prestigious 17^th VGMAs which saw E.L crowned king with five gongs under his belt.
