The fashion house of style icon KARL LAGERFELD has linked up with PUMA once again to introduce two special-edition sneakers for men and women. KARL who passed away early this year was renowned worldwide for his inspirational, relevant and cutting-edge approach to style.
He was a force of nature, coupled with an enigmatic persona and an original perspective on fashion and pop culture. In addition to being the creative director of his signature brand, Lagerfeld oversaw the creative direction of the Chanel and Fendi fashion houses.
His visionary talent further expanded beyond fashion to include illustration, photography, styling and publishing.
The collectable shoes fuse PUMA’s streetwise swagger with a touch of KARL’s classic sophistication.
Covered in a playful polka dot pattern, the sporty-chic designs are crafted from soft leather to combine comfort and style. With a contemporary yet youthful aesthetic, they reflect KARL LAGERFELD’s signature DNA with distinct shades of black and white.
The silhouette, called the Roma, was first introduced by PUMA in 1968 as a track shoe and has been reissued today.
The collaboration features two designs: a unisex Roma and a Roma Amor for women. Both have a die-cut stacked midsole decked with oversized KARL LAGERFELD branding.
