Recently, the Big Church Foundation had a major charity event to celebrate the United Nations’ World Disability Day in Abuja, Nigeria.
It was a 3-day events which revolved from visitation to homes of people living with disabilities; to a Walk for Love free Eye test & Glasses, Exhibition which was held at the Millennium Park, Abuja on the 3rd of December to celebrate and encourage the talents of people leaving with disabilities; and the Entertainers Charity Football Match at the SOHO 24 Sport center Gwarimpa express, Kado.
In attendance were Zack Orji, Emma Nyra, Bez, Swankyjerry, Uti Nwachukwu, Victor Osuagwu, amongst others.
The CEO, Big Church Foundation, Dr. Olakunle Churchill during the event said that, the major objective of the atmosphere was in line of assessing the current status of the Convention on the Rights of persons with disabilities. Furthermore, the event seeks to increase awareness on how to implement measures to improve lives of disabled people all over the world. The global blueprint for action summons us to “leave no one behind”.
