Doris Adom- Asomaning
Ghanaian model Doris Adom- Asomaning will unveil her fashion calendar RetroFab Twenty 17 on Monday December 19. RetroFab Twenty 17 will feature different stunning pictures of Doris as well as highlights of activities in the fashion industry.
Speaking in an interview with Showbiz, Doris who runs a model management and video productions company, Ebony & Ivory Productions Limited said she found it necessary to come out with the calendar because she has paid her dues in the Ghanaian fashion industry.
“I have modeled for different designers for the past 10 years and I feel coming out with a calendar on the fashion industry is the right thing to do. I must admit it has not been easy because it is quite an expensive venture but every good thing comes with a price. I was lucky to have Colour Planet partnering me. I had to hire good photographers to do the photo shoots, good printers among others but it has all been good. And I say thank you to Neal Davids, Prince IB and Sandi Owusu for also coming on board to help”, she added.
The second runner-up at Top Model of the World 2010 who has for the past three years held her Retro Fab fashion weekend said she is coming out with a fashion TV show called RetroFab; the styling challenge campus edition to unearth talents on various campuses.
Doris has worked with designers such as Kofi Ansah, Christie Brown, Mina Evans, Alphadi, Deola Sagoe, Stoned Cherie, Adebayor Jones, Paul Harve Elisabeth, Gilles Toure just to name a few.
She also has a runway legacy felt not only on the local front but internationally, having participated in modeling competitions such as, Top Model Ghana (2006), Top Model of the World (2010) among others.
