According to an insider who hinted us, “the CEO of the King Jay Entertainment was pivotal in the coming back of the two heavy weights in the Nigerian music industry. Since he is best friends with both Don Jazzy and Baddo, all he just had to do was to call both of them and asked them to bury the hatch, get along again for the sake of their respective mammoth followers.”
A quick insight into what happened was that, Reekado Banks from the Mavins won the Headies Award for – Next Rated star – and then this infuriated the YBNL members who felt that Lil Kesh should have grasped that gong. Tempers fled and got both leaders throwing words at each other on stage; also, the social media platforms went gaga.
