Young Ghanaian actress Cynthia Dankwa has been adjudged the Best Young/Promising Actor at the 2019 Africa Movie Academy Awards. She was nominated for her role in the 2018 movie ‘The Burial of Kojo’ where she played ‘Esi’.
She beat competition from Youssef Alaoui (Ayoub) URGENT, Angel Onyinyechi Unigwe (Adaeze) LIGHT IN THE DARK, Emilio Bilo (Azarias) Mabata Bata, Jamma Ibrahim (Amir) The Delivery Boy and Catherine Credo (Neema) Fatuma.
