 I was so overwhelmed by the love and support from the media and also the fans as well as my fellow colleagues in the industry. It felt like I just started something bigger than I expected.

It’s a love song that is coiled around having each other’s back in a relationship and assuring each other of a better future. ‘Daddy’ stands for ‘security in a household so no matter the ups or downs in a relationship, ‘Daddy’ always got things under control. ‘Come to Daddy’ is a beauty for us all…

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO DROP THIS DURING VALENTINE’S DAY PERIOD, ANY SPECIFIC REASON?

We have a lot of songs to release but the team and I felt it’s appropriate to release this during the love season. It’s actually a wedding song so I hope this song brings the bling to the single ladies who are willing to take the journey of marriage this year or the years to come.

#SMALLTHING WAS A MONSTER TAKE OVER ACROSS THE COUNTRY, HOW DO YOU ENVISAGE THE OUTCOME OF #COMETODADDY?

I believe the comeback was successful because we lifted the entire album to God in prayer. I have no doubt in my heart that the good Lord will bless this one too.

LET’S TALK ABOUT THE PRODUCTION OF THIS SINGLE, WHAT REALLY WENT INTO THE EXCELLENCE OF THIS SONG?

I have an amazing team who pay attention to details every step of the way. I am so blessed to have BOAW, Boss Beats and Jay Q making sure we are quality and loud in the clubs as well as the churches (Laughs).

YOUR FAN BASE OVER THE YEARS ACROSS THE WORLD KEEPS INCREASING, WHAT ARE SOME OF THE MEASURES PUT IN PLACE TO MAKE SUCH THAT THIS SINGLE AND OTHER FORTHCOMING SONGS GETS TO THEM?

Once again BOAW to the rescue; I’m happy to say, I finally have a website to keep my fans informed and also active social media platforms where fans can interact with me and contribute to my growth. I love getting personal with my fans.

WHEN CAN WE EXPECT THE FULL ALBUM? 

I believe it will be ready by summer or earlier if God permits. In the main time I want all my fans to enjoy the journey as it unfolds and keep supporting even after we climax.
